Open About settings. At the right, under Device specifications, see System type. In the right pane, look at the System Type entry.

For a bit version operating system, it will say Xbased PC. Click View and print details. In the System section, you can see whether or not you can run a bit version of Windows under bit capable. An operating system that is designed to work in a computer that processes 64 bits at a time. A bit operating system will not work in a bit computer, but a bit operating system will run in a bit computer.
